CALIFORNIUM

A first-person point-and-click adventure in which players take on the role of a writer “trapped in a volatile reality”. The game is set in 1967 in Berkeley, California. The career of Elvin Green, whose character is inspired by Philip K. Dick, is “no better than his 1win sentimental life”: his wife Thea left him on the same day, and his editor Eddie, calling him “a writer who doesn’t write,” advised him to find a replacement. Green abuses alcohol and drugs, spends sleepless nights at the typewriter and can not start his first novel. Finding himself on the verge of a breakdown, he realizes that the nightmarish world around him is unstable and from it it is possible to get into another reality.
